Wonder work question Pg. 249-310
  1. Explain August's fears of going school retreat/camp, were they justified? The 5th graders are getting ready for the Nature Retreat in Pennsylvania. August is excited for the Nature Retreat, but at the same time he's nervous because he's never slept away from home. He's never slept over at any relatives' houses because he has medical issues, but it's not really a problem now. He almost slept over at Christopher's house when he was 8, but he left at 1 in the morning because he was too freaked out. It turned out to be a disaster. August is just nervous that his trip might not go as he wants it to, but overall he's excited for the Nature Retreat.
  2. Compare Eddie and Julian. How are they similar/different. How do their interactions with August reveal their character? I don't know the answer because I don't even know who is Eddie and I didn't even here his name in the book
  3. Explain how August's relationship with his classmates has changed since he first started going to Beecher Prep, give explains.  Because on the first day of school no one like Auggie because of his face even just talk no one wants to talk to him they are all just staring at Auggie  but when in the middle of school their are some changes happened his friends become more and more because they saw Auggie is a nice boy that because of his real friend Summer and Jack.
    1. Describe how August has shown greatness during his year at Beecher Prep? Do you think he deserves the medal? Why? Yes I think he deserve the medal because their are so much challenges came to August but he didn't give up and after all of students did to him he still being a happy kid and even the bullies all ways hurting him he didn't did any revenge to the bullies and he is still being good to the bullies and he is still getting to school even if he know that their are so much bullies that can hurt his feelings
    2. Compare the character of Auggie at the beginning of the book and in the final chapters. How was changed and what has contributed to this change. In the first chapter Auggie is a Introvert person he can't stand by his own he always depends on his family but when he start schooling his being extrovert he can stand by his own he find a new friends he feels that he is a normal kid because in the first chapter he thinks that his not a ordinary kid like others
    3. Describe your favourite character in the story. Explain their impact on the story and why you picked them. I like the character of Via because it's like we have a same situation even if she's like a ghost she's not getting angry to her parents and even Auggie is like that she's not getting tired to take care of Auggie
    4. This story explores the themes: Friendship, Betrayal, Overcoming Challenges, Bullying and family relation ship. Create a brainstorm web from each of these themes that shows what the story has told for each theme. And this one I can't really answer this I don't know how to answer this I'm so sorry.
    5. What do you think Auggie's future holds? What do you think will happen in his life? I think it will be so challenging to Auggie because even if it is first time to go to school he saw how kids bully him and he can't handle without his friends or family
